In charge of all aspects of purchasing and managing day to day product needs for the Miami office. Working with 40+ different buyers in our headquarters and directly with vendors/suppliers to improve overall efficiency and to increase profit margins. Branch point person for all inter-branch procurement including verification and updating of product records. Troubleshoot inventory discrepancies that surface during daily inventory activity (i.e. receiving, picking, cycle counts, accounts payable, etc.). Additionally responsible for a variety of other tasks such as coordinating training, marketing and in charge of all IT related issues: Full technical support, installation, setup of new users, repair & troubleshooting of all local Computers, Servers, Alarm system and security Cameras.

Accurately maintain a 30 day on-hand supply of inventory for the top 2 vendors in SND Electronics averaging approximately $6.5 million. Fully analyze & report vendor rebates / Sales out, forecasting run-rates and placing orders accordingly with the respective vendors on their online systems such as IBL and WDC tools. Working in conjunction with the Vendor's representatives, Inside Sales, Field Sales and in-country offices to uncover, qualify, measure and close incremental sales opportunities. Designed and wrote a macro to help in processing the daily backlog and asset management and also very involved in the recent programming and transitioning to a new proprietary accounting system called (EPDS).

Purchasing Manager
Overseeing the vendor selection and management process, contract negotiations and direct due diligence and procurement of all IT related areas. Responsible for purchasing including transportation and receiving of all computer components, reporting directly to the company president. Devised a plan and instituted new SKU assignment system to standardize all Software and hardware to decrease shipping errors, and ease inventory management. Spearheaded transition to highly functional, streamlined and cost effective solutions that dramatically improved efficiency, decreased expenses, and optimized profit margins. Integrated various changes to the SBT accounting system to achieve and maintain an additional 2% profit margin. Also responsible for developing and managing the company's web site. Updating promos, pricing and new system configurations.

OEM Division Manager
Managing 2 PM/Buyers and a staff of 4 in Warehouse/operations. Responsible for the acquisition of approx. 1000 SKUs (Brand name and OEM components representing 40% of the company's total GP$) based on a combination of forecast, run-rate and reseller demand, ensuring the correct and timely replenishment of stock assortment. Identify and analyze risk areas/opportunities, establish priorities, develop purchasing strategies to reduce excess and inactive inventory, eliminating losses where possible, define and implement internal processes and negotiate terms & contracts with vendors. Drafted/wrote the original "CHSLA Distribution Agreement" which is still being used by some of it's vendors. Saved CHSLA an estimated $1200 per day in shipping charges alone by negotiating favorable freight terms with component manufacturers and suppliers. Attending Industry related seminars /exhibitions & directing special promotions.
Account Executive (ROW)
Handled all of the day to day sales activity to the "ROW" (rest of the world) territory. This was a single person operation in charge of all International sales calls and inquiries from the countries that were not in Latin America or in the Caribbean.
Within 6 months broke the all time sales record for ROW territory exceeding $1 million sales per month. Customer Service, return and exchange issues and technical support were also major part of the daily duties.
